The trafficking of human beings is easily one of the greatest injustices of our day.

I have been watching this issue for over 15 years and involved in combatting it in different ways in different seasons. From 95-2006 I had the joy of working on the streets in Vancouver as an aid worker and daily would have the honour of loving, and doing what I could to help, women caught in the jaws of this horrific crime - they were only the tip of the ice berge however. Human trafficking has become one of the leading industries globally with untold numbers of people being bought, sold and traded every day.

I encourage you to get involved in the fight to combat this global and local injustice. We can all do something. When the dullness of apathy tries to slop down on me I simply ask myself this question, "How would I want others to fight if I was on the other side?"

We can't do everything - but we can all do something and as we all do something this beast will come crumbling down.

There are tons of groups doing great work on the issue, both educationally and in activism. A really simply Google search will help you find TONS of them.

Here are a few INCREDIBLE sites and organizations that you can go to for information on this important issue.

Get involved in the fight for freedom.

Sometimes, freedom is not free.
